"it's okay, just hold on I'll get us out of here, and I'll do it in time for hot chocolate!"

A Soldier

Tyr prides himself on the fact that he stands tall as one of the more active Dragoons in Ishgard's army he proudly stands as part of a small group known as the "fury's finest" despite this rank he remains without a house sponsor

Love for machines

When not working on jobs in the field Tyr works endlessly on his next great invention often caught mumbling about another piece or scrap or relic he found amongst the battle grounds

Gentle soul

Despite his often times intimidating stature and look Tyr is a kind and somewhat aloof person. When he's comfortable he wears an almost permanent smile ear to ear...well horn to horn. Tyr is also someone who can come off as childish but when the call of battle reaches him he is definition of serious and collected

Aetherial anomaly

Those who are more attuned to seeing the aether or energies of a person would find themselves stunned by the fact that Tyr lacks any aura or Aether at all seeming more like a vacuum or bottomless hole in the flow of life around him

A poet hopeful

Tyr has been recently working on his collection of poems, even going so far to have done a few shows at small Inns around ishgard and gridania. always happy to share his passionate work. Perhaps you have heard the words of "Yoko-Momo"?

Tyr Yokoshi (Tear-yo-co-she) Stands tall as Proud young Raen calling the wayward steps of Ishgard's Foundation home. Where he lives day by day as a dragoon of the Fury's finest. His face is covered with more scales then most he seems no stranger to combat, that mixed with his black and grey hair that he has loosely tied into a ponytail showing off a two extra sets of horns it gives him a battle scarred veteran appearance. He is almost never seen without his hand crafted Silver and gold Tinted Armour and rose gold Allagan spear.Tyr holds a rather square face with a set of six strange black dots that trail down his forehead in pairs of two. His eyes carry a rather brilliant shade of jade like green that one could swear glitters when he speaks of something he holds as a passion. He speaks smoothly and with an almost knightly cadence that wavers when he becomes flustered revealing a somewhat faded Doman accentRecently Tyr has found himself employed by Saint Reinette’s university and orphanage as the main acting officer of security a title he takes very seriously.

Oh? You aren’t meant to see this. At least, very few do.

Name: Aragami
Age: ??
Race: Yokai
Sex: male
Story: A familiar that served under the yokoshi family for generations becoming something of a guardian spirit it has often taken the form of its current summoner but lacking any markings should they have them and empty silver eyes
As family legend states. Should the head of the bloodline come into dire strife Aragami would manifest as a being of vengeance and striking down whatever the head deemed enemy

The Village - (じょうたんはん) [jyootanhan](Summit Edge)Ruled by the Yokoshi family, with the laws and military of the village enforced by the temple’s monks fierce warriors who were seen as the first line of defense and offense against any outside threat. The majority of the population were crafts folk, merchants, and farmers. The crafters and farmers would supply the merchants and in return the merchants would bring rare food and materials from all over the world. Some families of note were:The Thoth family getting their name by being a family that married it’s way into the village from the west world and having two of the best monks under their bannerThe Jinrai family the best of the merchant families, it was said that any one with Jinrai blood in their body could sell water to a lakeThe Hōmi family were beloved
throughout the village as they were responsible for most of the homes and clothes that support the lives around them
The village was originally a wild and unruly land that was ruled by beast who lived by a code of the strong are served and the weak serve until a man by the name of Raikugo Yokoshi used his power to call upon powerful spirits to wage a war against the beasts during the final battle the Sage called a spirit that was so powerful it cleaved a scar into the very land itself that would become the “night march market street” at the edge of the village are walls of tall spiked logs tied together with rope thicker than a roegadyn’s arm dotted with powerful talismans that made enter the village uninvited nearly impossible.

The TempleWithin the Village were two major Landmarks that stood out one was a street that ran through the entire village where a night market would be held every friday and a mighty temple that rested at the peak of 200 jade steps one for each of the spirits the first Onmyouji was said to have summoned. This temple was home to the Yokoshi family and the training grounds for the Monks of the lands who were constantly pushing each other past the limits of mortals believing that by breaking their bodies and souls upon the hollowed stones of the temple they would be able to reforge themselves as demigods.
When one joins the temple they are given the title of “Howling fist” and with every 2 years they take an ascension test that pushes them past some kind of “mortal limit” the first of these tests is to rest in an airtight room with nothing but a single candle and they must be completely still while slowing their breathing as to not suffocate.
After 8 years of relentless combat and training with any free time being dedicated to a creative pursuit such as painting, zen garden tending, writing. A monk may challenge the final trial to achieve the title of “Golden soul Monk” and branding themselves in some way. This final trial is the one that has taken the most lives of the noble warriors as the challenge is to go into the northern forest Ma-no-Mori or the devil’s forest and fell one of the mighty Oni that populate the lands.

The OnmyoujiEven more important to the life and order of the Village is the Onmyouji or the Spirit sage. This title belongs to whoever is the current head of the Yokoshi family. With a new head being put in place by performing a ritual where the would-be figurehead comes face to face with the true nature of the family's guardian spirit and beats them in combat.
As the sage of the Village the Onmyouji wards the land from Spirits that would bring harm to Their people, other jobs they would have are such things as leaving the village for diplomatic envoys to other towns or even major cities, commanding and sealing wandering spirits that might roam the village, and settle any kind of major dispute acting as the supreme judge if the crime accused called for it.
The Yokoshi family was known to never have daughters so while a female Onmyouji is very much possible for one reason or another it has never happened, this means that the head of the house would often find a partner while on their travels and bring them home as to keep a sense of new blood in the village.
